Arohanui The Swanson Medical Dream Team At Alert Level 3 we are being asked to maintain physical distancing, so we will be going back to doing as many consults virtually (through phone, video or email) as possible.
If you need to be seen for a face to face consult at the medical centre, please wait in your car at your appointment time. We will call you in when we are ready for you, so that we can reduce the number of people in our waiting rooms. In that regard, it will be helpful if the number of people attending the appointment with you can be kept to a minimum.
When attending our clinic, please scan in with the QR codes; one is outside our front door and another on the notice board in the main waiting room.
Please also bring along your reusable facemask if possible, or pick one up from reception as you come in.
Many of you will already have been seen in, or have noticed the "Cottage" in our back carpark. This is where we have been seeing any patients with cold or flu symptoms, and where we do our Covid swabbing. We have continued to do a number of Covid swabs each day in this way, and are grateful to our patients who have consented to the test. We expect an increased uptake in testing, so this is going to be a busy wee building over the next short while!

This link will be sent to you via text ahead of your appointment, and can also be found on our website; www.swansonmedical.co.nz. Please click on this and arrive yourself at the time of your booked appointment. Your doctor will see you waiting there and click you through into consultation. Please check you have the latest version of Chrome or Firefox on your device.
We want you to feel supported and well cared for and to let you know we are all still here and are ready to help. We don’t want you to be worrying about your health and we want to be managing your health concerns in a timely way so PLEASE contact us as you would normally.
-If you request a script through MyIndici, please tell us which pharmacy you want it to go to. We are avoiding pick ups from the medical centre. Please allow as much time as possible for our GPs to complete your script requests. Scripts are usually available after 3pm the day after your request
